We listen closely to each of our clients and use sound science to identify and understand the details of your site specifics. Multiple methods can be used based on individual budgets including:

  1. Traditional soil testing (soil content and balance to identify potential restrictions and/or salinity issues)
  2. Soluble nutrient testing (to determine how well your soil is functioning, actual nutrient availability via the water stream and the potential for toxicity and/or salinity issues)
  3. Tissue testing (to identify nutrient shortfalls or restrictions in actual nutrient uptake)
  4. Bio-assay’s (to determine biological balance and activity of soil and by extension nutrient cycling and thatch degradation)
  5. Irrigation Suitability to determine water quality and your input to help determine water quantity applied, which by extension, will illustrate what
and how much of each constituent is being contributed to your specific growing medium (water is typically the single largest input on your turf) to
allow a more pro-active approach to management preventing the reactive roller coaster of highs and lows

STS then develops highly detailed, site-specific fertility, amendment and pro-active management plans to help you manage the highest quality turf
possible.

STS has partnered with numerous innovative, cutting edge manufactures and understands how each one fits into the agronomic puzzle. Furthermore, we work with our clients to include preferred products (even if we do not sell them) so we become facilitators, not dictators. Our goal is to put your turf onto a path of sustainability.

Give STS the opportunity to help save you money, be environmentally responsible and conserve water. We are all on this planet together.

Sustainable Turf Science is the Key!
